Job Description
Technical Fire Engineer \nLocation: London & Surrounding\n Salary: Up to £70,000 (DOE)\n Working Pattern: Work from home with site visits\n Contract: Permanent\n\n We’re working with a growing, forward-thinking fire engineering consultancy that’s building something genuinely exciting.\n This is a team focused on strong engineering, practical solutions, and a varied mix of projects, from standard designs through to complex, performance-based schemes.\n The Role You’ll work across projects from concept through to construction, supporting design teams and clients with clear, practical fire engineering advice.\n\nWhat you will be doing:\n\n • Provide fire engineering input across design and construction stages\n • Produce fire strategies, reports and technical documentation\n • Carry out site visits, inspections and risk assessments\n • Support regulatory approvals and compliance\n • Work closely with clients and project teams\n • Contribute to innovative and performance-based solutions\n\n What They’re Looking For:\n\n • Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and Building Regulations\n • Experience producing fire strategies and reports\n • Understanding of FRA / FRAEW\n • Strong analytical and communication skills\n • Able to work independently and manage workload\n\n Why:\n\nThis Role You’ll be joining at a key growth stage, with real opportunity to influence how the fire engineering team develops and operates.\n There’s a strong focus on quality, collaboration, and giving people the autonomy to do their best work.\n\nThe Package:\n\n• Up to £70,000 depending on experience\n • Work from home with site visits\n • Clear progression as the team grows\n • Support with professional development\n • Private medical, life cover and pension
