Now hiring a detail-oriented and experienced Technical Estimator - Fire Alarms Systems to join our dynamic and fast-growing team in Fort Worth, Texas! The Technical Estimator plays a pivotal role in the design and estimation of fire alarm and life safety systems for diverse projects, including healthcare, government, and educational facilities. Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Business Development, you will interpret architectural drawings and specifications, prepare accurate cost estimates and bid proposals using tools like Bluebeam Revu, collaborate with our internal design team to produce system layouts, and ensure all work complies with applicable codes and the Notifier product line. This role requires proactive communication with contractors and project stakeholders, a keen eye for risk assessment, and value-engineering insights, all while supporting our sales team with technical expertise and staying up-to-date on industry trends. This position requires a current Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL) - not just because it's mandatory, but because it sets the standard for excellence. Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with fire alarm/life safety systems
  • Technical master of Microsoft Word/Excel, Bluebeam Revu (AutoCAD a plus)
  • Valid FAL and other strong credentials (NICET, RCDD, CTS welcome)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Pay Rate: $60,000 - $75,000 + Commission
