Technical Engineer - Field based – Scotland - R.E.S Distribution

As a Technical Engineer based in a field-based role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Conducting site visits with Air Source Het Pump Installers.
- Provide expert technical guidance to project teams throughout the installation process, assisting with queries from installers, project managers, and clients.
- Producing detailed reports outlining site assessments, recommendations, and installation guidance.
- Ensuring all installations meet technical standards and comply with MCS regulations.
This is a full-time, permanent role working 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
- A Full UK Driving Licence
- Flexibility to travel across the whole of Scotland and stay over in certain instances
- Proven experience in a technical role within the renewables or HVAC sector - Experience installing, commissioning, fault-finding, servicing, and aftercare support for Air Source Heat Pumps
- Strong understanding of low-carbon heating technologies and renewable energy systems.
- Able to communicate effectively via email, phone, and digital reporting tools
- Relevant Plumbing & Heating qualifications e.g. Unvented Hot Water (G3) certification
