We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Delivery Consultant (1099 Contractor) to collaborate with our team on client-focused technology projects. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for individuals beginning their career in IT or technical services and looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, project-based environment. Contractors are responsible for providing their own reliable computer equipment and transportation. While project schedules may vary, contractors should have the flexibility to accept assignments that may occur at different times throughout the week, depending on client and project needs.

This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for extension based on project needs and performance. The role will initially require on-site work in Edison, NJ. We also have ongoing and upcoming projects in various states and cities across the U.S., so candidates must be prepared for extended travel to client or project sites as needed. When not assigned to a job site, contractors will have the flexibility to work remotely from home. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel are essential requirements for this role.

What you'll do:

• Contribute to the coordination and tracking of technical project tasks.
• Collaborate with team members, including developers, project managers, and consultants, help meet project timelines and client requirements.
• Support the setup and configuration of systems and applications as outlined in the project scope.
• Use personal equipment to connect to network devices and gather basic information (e.g., VLANs, IP addresses).
• Communicate with clients to understand technical needs and provide support during project execution.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during implementation.
• Maintain accurate documentation of project processes, configurations, and technical specifications.
• Provide input for status updates and reports for project stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of user guides and training materials for client teams
• Participate in solution testing and quality reviews prior to client handover.
• Help ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.

What we'd like to see:

• 1-2 years of experience in technical delivery, implementation, or consulting roles-preferably involving desktop or network infrastructure technology deployments (internships welcome)
• Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• CompTIA A+ Certification, demonstrating foundational skills in hardware, software, and troubleshooting across desktop and network environments.
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts (e.g., IP addresses, VLANs).
• Basic understanding of how to connect to network devices using a console cable.
• Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage time and tasks independently in a remote work environment.
• Access to personal computer equipment suitable for technical work.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client or project sites as needed.
• Availability to accept assignments with varied hours throughout the week.
