You will ensure every device is built, configured, tested, and packed to the highest standards.Working within a production-focused workshop environment, your responsibilities will include:Unboxing and assembling multifunction printers and photocopiersInstalling additional accessories and peripheralsUpgrading firmware and softwareInitialising and calibrating devicesApplying manufacturer and Apogee settingsConfiguring equipment to customer specificationsTesting functionality and ensuring quality standards are metPreparing devices for transport and deliveryCompleting relevant paperwork and updating internal systemsMaintaining workshop housekeeping standardsFollowing health and safety procedures at all timesThis is working 42.5 hours per week, based full time in our Lincoln office.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREDThis role would suit someone from a technical assembly, workshop, manufacturing, field service, IT support, electronics, electrical or mechanical background who enjoys working with technology and takes pride in delivering quality work.You will ideally have:Experience working in a hands-on technical or production environmentGood IT skills and confidence using a PC, including Microsoft Office applicationsStrong attention to detail and a focus on qualityThe ability to follow processes and work accurately to deadlinesGood communication skills and a positive, team-focused approachA practical mindset and willingness to learn new skillsThe ability to work independently and manage your workload effectivelyA reliable and dependable work ethicA good level of physical fitness, as the role involves moving, assembling and preparing equipmentExperience with printers, photocopiers or office technology would be advantageous but is not essential.
