Job Title: Technical Analyst
Location-Type: Hybrid (local to Houston, TX)
Start Date Is: Sep 29, 2025 (or ASAP)
Duration: 6 month Contract with potential extension
Compensation Range: $45.00/hr – $65.00/hr

Job Description:
Support business process optimization and data-driven decision-making through technical analysis and collaboration with data science teams.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business processes and translate requirements into analytical solutions
  • Design and develop scripts, APIs, and automation tools
  • Build and maintain data pipelines
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and data scientists to define and implement solutions
  • Create and maintain reports and data visualizations
  • Ensure data quality and reliability
  • Support Agile development activities like sprint planning and UAT
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing
  • Apply geospatial analysis techniques using GIS tools

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
  • 3–5 years in a hybrid technical/business analyst role
  • Proficient in Python, Java, SQL, R
  • Experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Astra DB
  • Familiarity with AWS (S3, SageMaker), Git, Jira, Confluence
  • Knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, OpenCV, PyTorch, Tensorflow
  • Strong communication and analytical skills

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with GenAI tools and frameworks
  • Proficiency in geospatial tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or CARTO
  • Exposure to Agile development environments
