We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Alignment Manager to join our service delivery team and help drive consistent client success through technical standardization and proactive services.

Job Summary

As a Technical Alignment Manager (TAM), you will be responsible for assessing and aligning client IT environments to internal standards. You’ll conduct regular audits, identify misalignments, create actionable remediation plans, and collaborate with the vCIO and Service Desk teams to maintain a secure and standardized client environment. This role is key to driving proactive service delivery and ensuring strategic IT alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regularly scheduled technical audits (monthly/quarterly) of client IT environments.
  • Evaluate systems, networks, and configurations against internal best practices and standards.
  • Identify risks, security gaps, or misalignments and create remediation tickets in ConnectWise Manage.
  • Work with the Service Desk to ensure remediation plans are implemented in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain client-facing documentation using IT Glue including network diagrams, standards checklists, and audit history.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions and QBRs with vCIOs and clients.
  • Act as the technical point of contact for assigned clients, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Recommend process improvements and contribute to ongoing standard development and documentation.
  • Support internal security, compliance, and best-practice alignment initiatives.
  • Track progress of remediation items and provide status updates to internal teams and clients.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an MSP or IT support environment (Network Admin, Support Engineer, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure: Windows Server, Active Directory, firewalls, networking, Microsoft 365, Azure, backup solutions, etc.
  • Familiarity with standards-based frameworks (CIS, NIST, CMMC) and risk identification.
  • Experience using PSA tools such as ConnectWise Manage and documentation platforms like IT Glue.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with excellent documentation habits and follow-through.
  • Able to manage multiple clients and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the TruMethods framework and proactive service delivery model.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+/Security+, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.
  • Experience with LogicMonitor, SonicWall, or other common MSP toolsets.
