Due to the ongoing success of this initiative, we are currently looking for highly skilled and motivated Technical Advisors to join our dedicated team in evaluating energy generation projects and opportunities.Position Overview: As a Technical Advisor in our Energy Solutions team, you will leverage your comprehensive engineering experience to provide balanced advice relating to high-stakes energy transaction opportunities. Your deep technical knowledge and understanding of energy systems and processes will enable you to evaluate scheme opportunities, assess project feasibility, identify risks and provide strategic recommendations, playing a pivotal role in shaping energy project investments and initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Provide technical leadership and expertise in Transaction Advisory and Due Diligence projects, focusing on energy infrastructure projects. Conduct thorough reviews of project documentation, technical reports, and financial data to assess project feasibility, risks, and opportunities. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to understand project objectives, evaluate technical feasibility, and provide valuable insights to inform strategic decisions. Identify potential technical challenges and opportunities that could impact the successful execution of transactions. Develop and present clear, concise technical reports to clients, outlining findings, recommendations, and potential mitigation strategies. Engage with stakeholders including clients, legal advisors, financial experts, and regulatory bodies to ensure a comprehensive understanding of project requirements and compliance. Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to contribute to continuous improvement in the Transaction Advisory and Due Diligence field. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field; advanced degree preferred. Proven experience in Transaction Advisory and Due Diligence processes. Proven track record of successfully delivering technical expertise on complex projects in sectors such as infrastructure, real estate, or energy. Strong understanding of financial and commercial aspects related to transactions and due diligence. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proficient in collaborating within cross-functional teams and effectively managing stakeholder relationships. Familiarity with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices in the UK market. Professional certifications (e.g., Chartered Engineer status) would be advantageous.
