Location: Brea, CA
Pay Rate: $28.00 – $35.00/hour (final offer based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Overview
We are seeking a Product Development Technician to support engineering and laboratory operations in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on executing technical tasks, supporting engineers, and assisting in product development, testing, and documentation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, compile, and maintain technical data including lab and material test results
- Create engineering documentation such as reports, flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics
- Perform quantitative analysis and prepare summaries of findings
- Provide technical support to engineers across various projects
- Assist in equipment selection, setup, and qualification processes
- Support general lab operations including calibration, safety procedures, and equipment maintenance
- Identify and communicate issues that may impact project timelines or outcomes
- Assist in developing prototype processes and test setups
- Execute test protocols and accurately document results
- Handle test samples and chemicals used in conditioning and testing
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 4–6 years of experience in a lab or regulated/technical environment
- Experience following written procedures and working in a team setting
OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field
- 1–2 years of experience in a laboratory or R&D environment
Qualifications
- Ability to follow and execute detailed test procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
- Basic problem-solving skills for routine technical issues
- Proficiency with computers and technical documentation tools
- Ability to train and support junior technicians
