TcFAB Junior Material and Logistics Coordinator

Position Summary

The TcFAB Junior Material and Logistics Coordinator is an entry-level position that plays a key support role in production at TcFAB. This position requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual responsible for ordering and tracking materials, maintaining consumables, maintaining inventories, and coordinating logistics of products. This role supports shop and project efficiency by ensuring accurate tracking of labor and material movement across departments.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain the production team calendar
  • Input daily time entries for shop floor team based on department lead timesheets
  • Support the ordering and tracking of materials, consumables, shop supplies, and other related items
  • Organize and maintain job documentation per TcFAB process
  • Maintain production floor status matrices updates per TcFAB Process
  • Assist in organizing and staging jobs for the shop floor in alignment with the production schedule
  • Coordinate truck requests for material and job transfers
  • Operate forklifts, trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to transport parts between shop locations

Education and Experience:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Required):

  • Must be able to read, write, and comprehend instructions
  • Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Must be able to calculate and understand units of measure, including fractions and decimals
  • Must know how to measure using a tape measure
  • Must be able to wear applicable PPE (steel toe shoes, ear protection, face shields, safety glasses, and face coverings as required)
  • Must be able to pass Drug Screening and Work Ability Screening
  • Must be able to use proficiently Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to obtain Forklift certification
  • Must have a valid drivers license and provide current driving record


Experience Plus:


  • Experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or material handling environment
  • Familiarity with inventory management software or production tracking systems
