We are seeking a forward-thinking Talent Manager to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for four main departments/areas:
The main focus is to expand our presence through the strategic recruitment of top-tier independent contractor interpreters and translators, who we call our Talent.We need somebody passionate about employing the latest technologies and AI to reshape recruitment processes.
Another key responsibility for the Talent Manager will be developing the Linguist Certification program. This program will focus on creating resources and certification programs for new talent/linguists. We are looking for someone with a builders mindsetsomeone eager to establish and grow this area from the ground up.
Third, the manager will oversee the Warranty Claims Supervisor, who manages complaints and service related issues regarding our talent/linguists. The primary goal is to resolve these issues promptly while also using them as valuable insights to continuously improve our processes, talent performance, and overall service quality.
Lastly, the manager will oversee our Talent Administration Department. This group ensures that all the documentation and processes are up to date and that we are keeping compliant rules and regulations of the relevant territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cutting-edge recruitment strategies to attract and engage the best interpreters and translators across the nation.
- Employ advanced technology and AI tools to enhance the recruitment workflow, boosting efficiency and scalability.
- Maintain a Learning Management System for training and development.
- Oversee the Talent Acquisition Team (at the moment a team of 4 recruiters and 1 supervisor, and growing), develop the new Linguist Certification program (number of employees and structure to be defined), oversee our Warranty Claims Supervisor (team of 1 or 2), and the Talent Administration team (team of 1) ensuring they align with our ambitious company goals.
- Manage the full recruitment life cycle for 1099 independent contractors, adapting strategies to evolving market conditions and organizational growth.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with both potential and current contractors to foster a vibrant and dedicated talent network.
- Coordinate with other departments to integrate new talent smoothly, maintaining our high standards of service quality.
- This position will be part of the Leadership Team, working closely with President/COO to shape the future of the company. As part of this team, we will meet weekly to discuss issues and define strategies. We also meet off-site quarterly and once a year for a two day off-site for our Annual Strategic Meeting.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in talent acquisition, especially in recruiting for 1099 positions, with a robust understanding of the dynamics of working with independent contractors.
- Strong expertise in leveraging cutting-edge recruitment technologies and AI-driven tools.
- Ability to manage and maintain a Learning Management System.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire multiple teams, showcasing superior organizational and leadership skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for negotiation and relationship building.
- Prior experience in the services industry is advantageous but not essential.
