Are you ready to inspire the next of engineers? We're seeking a dedicated T Level Mechanical Engineering Teacher to deliver engaging, industry-relevant teaching to learners aged 16-19. This role involves delivering the core and occupational specialisms of the T Level qualification, with a strong emphasis on practical application, theory, and employer-led projects.

You'll bring real-world mechanical engineering experience, strong subject knowledge, and a recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTLS, CertEd). Experience in curriculum planning, assessment, and supporting learner progression is essential.

At The Manchester College, you will be supported by our Teaching Academy to work towards qualified teacher status for post 16 compulsory education, through a Cert Ed/PGCE.

This includes 3-4 hours delivery per week and engagement with a mentor to support your progress in the profession while you work. The starting salary for an unqualified teacher is between £28,300.00 - £30,307.50*. It's a great way to kick-start a rewarding career with full training and support.
