Job Description\n\nSystems Engineering and Verification Opportunities - Submarines\nFull Time / Part Time\n5 Days On-Site - Hybrid working may be agreed.\n\nDerby\n\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for Systems & Verifications Engineers to join Rolls-Royce Submarines.\n\nOur Systems Engineering and Verification Engineers are responsible for ensuring oversight of our products to meet business, customer and regulatory requirements. Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home or another remote location. It's a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum we're all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.\n\nWhat you'll be doing:\n\nYou will interface between external and internal customers, to elicit and validate all stakeholder requirements; including business, technical customers and partners.\nSet the Systems Engineering and Verification approach for an Engineering Programme through the relevant management plans.Ensure sufficient rigor is put into requirements validation and verification, to remove technical risk.Develop product verification strategy, structured verification plan and Product Development Plan.Manage the creation of substantiation evidence, clearance/acceptance documentation that meets the demand for the project.Be the point of contact within the project to support and coach the team regarding Systems Engineering, Validation and Verification activities, driving the right V&V behaviours within the project.\nWho we are looking for: \n\nAt Rolls-Royce we embrace agility, are bold, pursue collaboration and seek simplicity in everything we do.
