Job Title: Systems Safety Engineer – Flight Control Design with FHA/FTA Certification Experience
Location: Remote

We are looking for a Safety Analysis Engineer to join the Flight Controls team, focusing on safety-critical systems for the 777X and MAX programs. The primary responsibility is to support safety analysis activities to ensure compliance with aerospace certification standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct safety assessments on Flight Controls systems, focusing on hardware and software interactions.
• Perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) to identify potential safety risks.
• Document safety findings and recommendations to support certification.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including testing and verification engineers, to ensure compliance with DO-254 standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with safety analysis methods, including FMEA and FTA, in aerospace.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for safety-critical aerospace systems, such as DO-254 and ARP4761.
• CAFTA and DOORS are the 2 tools used with a lot of certification experience and safety experience.
