Role: Systems Engineering Manager\nJob Type: Permanent\nLocation: High Wycombe, Hybrid\nWe’re looking for a seasoned Systems Engineering professional to lead a talented team working on cutting-edge electronic systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, technical environment and enjoys solving complex engineering challenges.\nWhat You’ll Do:\n * Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and allocate work across a team of Systems Engineers, providing both strategic direction and hands-on support.\n * Technical Oversight: Own the development and delivery of engineering solutions across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and compliance standards.\n * Process Improvement: Evolve and enhance systems engineering methods, tools, and capabilities to support current and future programmes.\n * Project Delivery: Lead the design and implementation of system architectures, develop key systems documentation, and ensure successful project outcomes.\n * Collaboration: Work closely with hardware and software teams to deliver integrated solutions with modularity and reuse in mind.\n * Stakeholder Engagement: Present at internal and external reviews, manage customer and supplier interactions, and support bids with accurate technical inputs and risk assessments.\n * Governance: Ensure all outputs meet internal quality standards and security requirements, and actively review and approve technical documentation.\nWhat You Bring:\n * Deep experience applying Systems Engineering practices in complex engineering environments.\n * Strong background in requirements development, system design, integration, and verification.\n * Track record of producing high-quality technical documentation and leading formal reviews.\n * Familiarity with tools like JAMA, and hands-on experience in hardware, firmware, or embedded software is a plus.\n * Previous experience in defence or other highly regulated sectors is advantageous.\n * Degree in engineering, science, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.\n * Eligibility for UK security clearance.\nBenefits:\n * Flexible Working\n * Annual Bonus\n * Competitive Pension Scheme\n * Annual Salary Reviews\n * Medical Insurance\n * Health Screening\n * Dental Plan\n * 25 Days Holiday & 8 BH\n * Buy or Sell Holiday\n * & MANY MORE
