We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer – Integration and Test, supporting one of our premier programs in the Space Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (SISR) business unit. In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products and your knowledge with regards developing plans and procedures, debugging and evaluating system functions and interfaces, developing test environments, and working hand-in-hand with our integration teams and customers will be put to good use.
What You Will Do

In this role, you will work with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers who are leading the industry in ground systems solutions.

Conduct integration and test activities as a member of an Agile Release Train (ART) team

Identify technical issues during software and hardware integration and collaborate with fellow engineers to drive solutions to closure
-
Development of automated test scripts and their execution

Troubleshooting and debugging issues

Work in an Agile program environment
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience
-
Experience with systems integration and test for a software product, in an Agile, CI/CD environment including regression testing, test scripting, and/or test automation tools

Experience with Integration and Test engineering
-
Experience troubleshooting and/or debugging a software-based system or product, Experience with Linux Red Hat, Python, and/or Perl

Active and transferable U.S. government issued DOD TS/SCI is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer

Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment

Experience with ground station and satellite domains (such as terrestrial data networking, command and telemetry, launch operations, flight dynamics, mission planning, on-orbit operations), CompTIA Security + or equivalent certification

Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)

Experience in Test Automation (Cucumber, Gherkin, Zypher)
-
Experience with Java, C++, Python, Linux operating system, Cloud environments; AWS certification is helpful

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
