Systems Engineer\n\n6 month contract\n\nBased in Portsmouth\n\nOffering £60ph Inside IR35\n\nDo you have experience across the whole systems lifecycle?\n\nDo you have experience working on MilSatComs?\n\nDo you want to work with an industry-leading company?\n\nIf your answers are yes to these, then this could be the role for you!\n\nAs the Systems Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry!\n\nDue to the nature of the work you will be involved in, you will be required to obtain high-level MOD Security Clearance.\n\nYou will be involved in:\n\nSupport the Systems Engineering process, culture, competency and discipline, on day-to-day business activities, enabled by adequate Methods & Tools (M&T) products and services\nThis support spans all aspects of the system lifecycle\nIdentify the stakeholder for the solution to be developed and capture their needs and expectations\nIdentify boundary of the solution to be developed\nElicit and validate requirements whilst considering the complete system lifecycle\nDesign and define possible architectures, in collaboration with IS/IT specialists, considering the functions and other requirements (constraints)\nLead modelling using appropriate systems engineering techniques\nLead analysis (e.g., performance)\nPerform trade-off analysis in order to select the best solution fulfilling the requirements\nValidate architecture\nDefine and manage interface requirements\nLead verification of the implementation and its interfaces\nLead operational and in-service evaluation\nLead impact analysis of any design change request during the entire product lifecycle \n\nYour skillset may include:\n\nBusiness or Mission Analysis\nStakeholders Needs Definition\nSystem Requirements Definition\nSystem Analysis and architecture definition\nDesign definition\nVerification, Validation & integration\nTransition to Operation\nUnderstand and implement 'Systems Engineering' approach and way of working (this includes an understanding of how to develop a system through its whole lifecycle and define a strategy that considers customer's expectations)\nPlan total technical and managerial effort required to transform a set of customer needs, expectations, and constraints into a solution\nAbility to safeguard export-controlled data\nMilitary standards\nMilitary satellite communications systems \n\nIf this all sounds like something you will be interested in then simply apply and we can discuss the opportunity further!\n\nSystems Engineer\n\n6 month contract\n\nBased in Portsmouth\n\nOffering £60ph Inside IR35\n\nDisclaimer:\n\nThis vacancy is being advertised by either Advanced Resource Managers Limited, Advanced Resource Managers IT Limited or Advanced Resource Managers Engineering Limited ("ARM").
