Work Schedule

Monday through Friday; various shifts as assigned (additional hours as required; flexible schedules, weekends and after-hours availability necessary at times).

Hybrid Schedule: 2 days per week in office, 3 days remote.

Summary

Systems Engineers are responsible for Management, Platform Engineering, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting highly available and secure technology services and processes.

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Engineering and operational support experience with:
    • Management (Entra ID, Active Directory, Enterprise Applications, RBAC)
    • Certificate Auto Management (CyberArk Venafi)
    • Cloud HSM
    • Containerized Platforms
    • Azure and Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure
    • Privileged Access Management (CyberArk)
  • Kubernetes management, Rancher, Docker, AKS, and Observability
  • Administering and troubleshooting:
    • Windows Server 2019 / 2022
    • Kubernetes
    • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
    • VMware
  • Configuring and troubleshooting core services including:
    • DNS
    • DHCP
    • Group Policy (GPO)
  • Working closely with IS Operations and Networking to achieve optimal performance of supported technologies.
  • Working in tandem with InfoSec to secure all internally and externally facing systems.
  • Providing technical leadership for deployment of new server-based software platforms and upgrades to existing environments.
  • Creating and maintaining scripts (PowerShell, Perl, etc.) and scheduled tasks to automate routine tasks and configurations.
  • Ability to perform triage troubleshooting for all systems as a first point of contact with other IT groups.
  • Experience with AWS, SQL, Varonis, and Citrix .
  • Participation in periodic weekly 24/7 on-call rotation.

  • Strong ability to create and maintain detailed system documentation.
  • Creative thinker with proven problem-solving ability.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative, flat organization.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
  • 5+ years of related experience required.
  • Experience at a large law firm or professional services organization strongly .
