Position Title: Avionics Systems Engineer (Model-Based Systems Engineering)
Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Person
Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Position Summary

Responsible for development, systems integration, and verification of core Aircraft State and/or Aircraft Systems monitoring and synoptics applications to be hosted on the Next Avionics Platform.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering or computer science background and experience in systems engineering, avionics, embedded systems, and model-based design within safety-critical aerospace environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and verify aircraft state and systems monitoring applications
• Support systems/software requirements development, validation, integration, and verification activities
• Perform model-based system design and analysis
• Support integration of avionics systems into next- aircraft platforms
• Work with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure system performance and compliance

Required Qualifications (Top Must-Have Skills)

• Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Background in avionics and embedded systems
• Experience with systems/software requirements development and verification
• Experience with aircraft systems integration or avionics platforms
• Engineering or Computer Science degree

Experience

• Model-based system design using Simulink
• ARINC 661 graphics development using SCADE
• Experience with aircraft sensors (Air Data, AHRS, GPS)
• Experience integrating aircraft systems (flaps, landing gear, cabin pressure, FADEC, etc.)
• Strong understanding of aircraft systems architecture and interfaces
