We are is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer III (Tier 3 Mobiity Emgineer) to support contract work based out of Washington, DC. The exempt postion is considered remote.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and document Microsoft Intune Mobile Device Management (MDM) system.
- Maintain the development, test, and production environments.
- Gather, review, and troubleshoot log files to ensure optimal performance and resolve issues.
- Work with the Apple Device Enrollment Program (DEP) to deliver mobile device provisioning, deployment, and support.
- Configure and deploy user certificates to mobile devices for encryption and authentication.
- Provide Tier 3 technical and customer service, serving as Tier 2 escalation point for 3500 federal employees and contractors, supporting iPhones, iPads, MiFi, and Air cards. Some examples are iOS device issues, including enrollment failures, app deployment, and policy conflicts.
- Responsible for the coordination of change and release management activities for MDM services, functions, patches, and upgrades in production including configuration, scheduling, impact / risk analysis, obtaining approval, communications, testing, implementation, monitoring, and after-action operations.
- Follow problem and incident management to troubleshoot and restore services caused by outages, and defects.
- Assess and report performance, access, licensing, capacity, and recommend solutions.
- Provide guidance on best practices surrounding mobile device management.
- Provide occasional after-hours support for Tier 3 related emergencies, occasional VIPs, or performing system maintenance.
Required Education and Certificton:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline; additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (optional but relevant)
- Apple Certified IT Professional (ACiT) (optional but relevant)
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills
- Ability to configure and maintain security policies in MDM solution and assist in enforcement & remediation as required
- Experience with implementing mobile MDM concepts ex: iOS – supervision, restriction polices, per app VPN.
- Proficiency with deploying and supporting Microsoft 365 mobile apps
- Tech-savvy communicator who thrives on solving device issues and connecting with customers one-on-one-whether it's over the phone, through email, or in live chat.
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Service-Now ticketing experience
- Works under minimal supervision and independently perform duties.
