Responsibilities\n
\n
\n

\n
• Develop software in LabVIEW programming environment for sensor acquisition and actuator control systems.

\n

• Design, develop, document, test and debug application software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions for onboard ship and submarine research.

\n

• Collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of Instruments data acquisition modules and LabVIEW software.

\n

• Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.

\n

• Conduct Independent Verification and Validation of existing LabVIEW software at customer site in West Bethesda, MD.

\n

• Conduct testing with actual system hardware and document test results.

\n

• Some travel (< 5%) required to customer test sites for software system installation, checkout, operation, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications\n
\n
\n

\n
• Active Secret clearance desired or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

\n

• U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance

\n

• B.S. degree in Engineering, Science, Computer Science, Applied Math, or closely related field.

\n

• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience developing LabVIEW software.

\n

\nAMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $100,000.00/Yr. - USD $135,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
