Strategic Ventures is currently recruiting a Systems Engineer to join our team onsite at Ft. Meade. The Systems Engineer will provide technical support across the system life cycle, supporting requirements development, system integration, and test and evaluation activities for mission-critical systems. This role ensures technical solutions meet operational requirements, performance metrics, and applicable standards in a secure environment.
Responsibilities:
The Systems Engineer will:
· Develop, analyze, and manage system requirements, including functional, performance, and interface requirements
· Define, track, and assess system performance metrics to ensure compliance with mission and technical objectives
· Develop and maintain system test plans, test procedures, and verification and validation documentation
· Provide direct support to system integration, planning, and execution of test and evaluation activities
· Support system design reviews, technical reviews, and milestone decision events
· Review applicable engineering standards, policies, and technical guidance for compliance
· Identify process gaps or technical risks and recommend improvements to systems engineering practices
· Coordinate with engineering, test, operations, and program management teams in a classified environment
· Support issue identification, troubleshooting, and resolution during integration and testing
· Perform system modeling and simulation activities to support requirements analysis, architecture development, and performance evaluation
· Develop and maintain analytical models to assess system behavior, validate design assumptions, identify risks, and recommend technical solutions that ensure mission and program objectives are met
Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Required (alternate applicable degrees accepted with additional years of experience)
· Active TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph required
· Familiarity with systems engineering standards and frameworks
Qualifications:
· 2+ years of experience
· Experience supporting DoD or IC programs
