Role Overview:
Systems Engineer
As a Specialist Systems Engineer, you will be a crucial team member within the Resilient Missile Warning and Missile Tracking (RMWT) Ground Management and Integration (GMI) engineering team. This role focuses on supporting the Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the development and operation of a next- satellite ground operations mission. The engineer will play a role in defining and implementing sophisticated system architectures and requirements tailored to missile warning and tracking systems. Responsibilities include integration and test of advanced ground management systems, ensuring continuous, reliable operations, and optimizing system performance. The candidate will also conduct system tests and analyses, troubleshoot complex issues, and devise innovative solutions to uphold and improve system integration and functionality.
In this position, you will bring your systems engineering background to a system engineering role where you can make a broad impact to programs and projects that are critical to our customers!
Essential Functions:
Systems engineering experience working with Operator Interfaces.
Ability to write capability and product requirement specifications
Able to work with customer, system engineers and system architects to develop requirements
Ability to test and troubleshoot systems.
Ability to communicate effectively with developers to explain requirements and use cases when needed.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities a must.
Ability to travel as needed (a minimum of 10% travel expected).
Qualifications:
Active Secret
Requires proficient knowledge of job area.
May have practical knowledge of project management.

Knowledge of engineering life cycle.
