Pay Range: $70,000-$90,000 Annual Salary

Position Overview

As a Systems Engineer, you'll be a trusted resource for our technical team and our clients. You'll serve as the escalation point for Level I and Level II technicians, helping resolve complex issues and ensuring our clients' systems run smoothly and securely. You'll work independently and collaboratively, always with a focus on clear communication, accountability, and a cybersecurity-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support & Troubleshooting:
    • Be the go-to expert for advanced network and server issues, providing guidance and solutions for both clients and teammates.
    • Respond to support calls and emails, keeping clients informed and empowered throughout the process.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and wireless issues across a variety of environments.
  • Project Work:
    • Plan and implement network infrastructure builds and changes, tailoring solutions to each client's needs.
    • Lead migration services, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption for our clients.
  • Technical Excellence:
    • Configure and deploy firewalls, switches, access points, and related hardware.
    • Manage Windows OS, Windows Server OS, HyperV, VMWare, and Microsoft Azure environments.
    • Administer Microsoft 365 tenants and related products (SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, SQL, etc.).
  • Collaboration & Documentation:
    • Work closely with clients and team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
    • Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation and audit customer networks to support ongoing improvement.
  • Help Desk Partnership:
    • Open, work, and close Help Desk tickets, supporting mobile devices, desktops, laptops, and user data migrations.
    • Provide backup and disaster recovery support and manage user/access provisioning.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Help Desk and technical support experience, with a track record of increasing responsibility
  • Strong customer service skills and a collaborative spirit
  • Bachelor of Science in Information Technology ()
  • CompTIA A+, Network+ or CCNA, Security+ certifications
  • Microsoft 365 Platform Certifications ()
  • Experience with Windows 10/11, Windows Server OS, HyperV, VMWare, and Microsoft Azure
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks
  • Willingness to travel to client locations as needed
  • Valid driver's license

Physical Demands

This role involves regular communication, occasional lifting (up to 50 pounds), and the ability to move throughout client sites. We value accessibility and will provide reasonable accommodations to support all team members.
