**General Summary:**

Qualcomm is seeking an experienced Chipset Power System Engineer passionate about solving power challenges and developing innovative solutions to optimize power for Snapdragon chipsets. The engineer will lead a cross-functional team to model SOC/chipset power and develop solutions to enhance hardware and software, aiming for low power consumption. Responsibilities include:

Power architecture and tradeoff analysis

Chipset and system-level power modeling, analysis, and optimization

Identifying power requirements and quantifying gaps or risks

Optimizing power efficiency and performance for current and future designs

Guiding teams through the design cycle to meet power targets

Designing power features and collaborating across teams

Interacting with customers to showcase capabilities and address power needs

Modeling power for customer-specific use cases

**Minimum Qualifications:**

A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required, with a minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience . Expertise should include:

Design and analysis of low power features at SOC, chipset, or platform levels

Architectural knowledge in application processors, modems, AR/VR, ML, IoT, automotive, or computing

Hardware/software design or optimization of low power features

System-level power modeling and analysis

**Compensation & Benefits:**
