Job Title: Systems Engineer Level III, IV, V
Job Description:
The Systems Engineer Level III, IV, and V will be responsible for Systems Engineering and Integration activities. The successful candidate will demonstrate expert-level technical expertise and experience in designing, developing, integrating, and testing complex systems within a mission-critical space environment across telemetry, optics, radar, and launch safety delivering key payloads for the US defense and commercial capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Systems Engineering efforts to define system requirements, architecture, design, integration, and testing activities for the Space Force Range Contract.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and implementation of system components.
3. Assess and analyze system performance metrics and provide recommendations for optimization and improvement.
4. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for systems integration challenges.
5. Participate in technical reviews and provide insights to improve system performance and reliability.
6. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure project success.
7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance system capabilities.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field. Masters degree .
2. Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Systems Engineering and Integration.
3. Extensive knowledge of space system architecture, design principles, and integration processes.
4. Experience working on Space Force or similar government contracts is highly desired.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders effectively.
7. Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.
