Automation Engineer \n Northampton  \n £50,000 - £60,000 + bonus & allowances \n Permanent- FMCG  \n  \n TXM Recruit have fantastic opportunity for an engineer experienced in electrical or PLC disciplines to join this company as a Control Systems Engineer on a permanent basis.  \n  \n For this Automation Engineer position, we are looking someone with a background in high volume and fast paced production lines, such as FMCG or packaging, coupled with skills within programming, updating and fault finding within PLC, SCADA and HMI software. \n  \n The Company  \n Our client is a global leader in engineering, can making and industrial plant facilities with 25+ years’ experience in the industry. An international business within a growing market with great opportunities to work across different sites and on global projects.   \n  \n Duties and responsibilities  \nProgram, update, and fault find within PLC, SCADA, and HMI. \nDevelop applications for controls, instruments, and systems for industrial uses including motors and conveyance systems.  \nDirect and coordinate operation, maintenance and repair of equipment and systems in field installations  \nParticipate in team project meetings, track project schedules, project budgets, responsibilities of work, total team change updates and coordinate with contractors. \nTravel both in the UK and globally, ranging from 30-40% of the year, typically in 2-week blocks.  \n Automation Engineer- Skills and experience  \nBTEC Level 3 in general engineering or equivalent is required. \nCertifications in networking and database management . \nRockwell and/or Siemens experience.  \nProcess knowledge of P&ID’s is strongly .  \nStrong mechanical aptitude and hands on experience is .   \n Benefits  \n Up to 10% bonus  \n Travel & Food Allowance  \n 25 Days holiday with holiday top ups  \n  \n Apply \n  \n If you’re interested in applying for this Automation Engineer position or have any questions in relation the role please contact myself – (url removed) - I look forward to hearing from you
