Job Title: Systems Engineer\n\nLocation: Luton - On-site 4+ days/week\n\nRole Type: Contract - Initial 6 months+\n\nRate: £50.00 - £90.00 per hour Inside IR35 - depending on level of experience\n\nOur client, an established aerospace engineering consultancy, require an experienced Systems Engineer to join their multi-disciplined team and systems engineering community.\n\nThis role will provide you will work as part of an Integrated Project Team currently engaged in the design & development of next-gen Electronic Warfare & Radar Systems.\n\nThere is multiple headcount available, with positions in the team for engineers with varying levels of experience.\n\n** Please note we can only consider sole UK (no dual ) **\n\nWhat the role of the Systems Engineer entails:\n\nSome of the main duties of the Systems Engineer will include:\n\nDevelop and derive project requirements.\nDefine and implement the project's Requirements Management and DOORS Implementation plans.\nMaintain configuration of the DOORS Project.\nSupport the creation and apportionment of systems requirements and allocation to sub-systems.\nSupport and manage the collation of verification evidence\nProduce verification and compliance documentation.\nManage the flow of requirements from system level to sub-system level ensuring traceability of system requirements. \n\nWhat experience you need to be the successful Systems Engineer:\n\nExperience of Requirements Management Planning.\nExperience of Requirements definition and apportionment.\nAbility to work at Specialist Level in DOORS.\nKnowledge of Atlassian tools, Cameo Systems Modeller or MATLAB.\nFamiliarity with EW, RF systems/Radar System design and operation\nFamiliarity with electro-optic system design and operation\nAbility to liaise with engineers across disciplines\nAbility to understand requirements specifications\nExperience in systems engineering processes, lifecycle and procedures, including system specification and verification methods and procedures.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, along with experience of multidisciplinary teams.\nAn ability to collect verification evidence and supporting data and collate against the verification matrix for the purposes of compliance demonstration is essential \n\nThis really is a fantastic opportunity for a Systems Engineer to progress their career.
