Position Overview:

Seeking an Expert-Level Systems Architect to support mission-critical applications in the domain of Workers Compensation and Insurance. The selected candidate will contribute to the architectural planning, development, integration, and maintenance of enterprise-level applications. This role is vital to the execution of multiple high-impact insurance and billing systems and involves collaboration across diverse IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and review technical solution designs ensuring system architecture aligns with enterprise standards

  • Support the integration of multiple insurance platforms including policy renewals, premium calculations, audits, and compliance

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess IT needs and forecast infrastructure demands

  • Contribute to enterprise architecture and data governance frameworks

  • Develop and maintain applications using Oracle, PL/SQL, and Microsoft .NET

  • Build and support billing and collection systems for multi-state insurance platforms

  • Uphold quality control standards and perform system evaluations

  • Provide written knowledge transfers as required for internal documentation

  • Ensure consistent application compliance with internal policies and external regulations

Qualifications:

Required (Minimum 7 years each):

  • Experience developing algorithms for Workers Compensation pricing, audit load reduction, and cashflow optimization

  • Designing and implementing Workers Compensation and Insurance systems, including policy renewals, audits, CIRB ratings, and construction modifiers

  • Implementing policy premium calculations according to NYCIRB guidelines

  • Supporting and enhancing billing and collection systems in insurance contexts

  • Advanced Oracle PL/SQL skills using Packages, Types, Objects, Triggers, and Advanced Queuing

  • .NET application development using Visual Studio 2015+ and TFS

  • Front-end browser-based application development including JavaScript, CSS, XML, XSLT, HTML, and AJAX

  • Daily Work Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
