Responsibilities

A System Administrator position will manage all systems supported by the program including physical and virtual systems that span across several domains and security enclaves. This position will assist in building, integrating, and testing various systems in support of a program. The type of work will include supporting interoperability testing, infrastructure, system maintenance, cyber security, patch management, hardware maintenance, etc. while ensuring that the program environment is operating securely and at peak efficiency.

Typical responsibilities may include:

Provide installation, loading, and configuration of systems, servers, and virtualized systems

Provide system administration services to customer for events and other activities

Administer Core Services (including administration of user accounts, passwords, permissions, access control lists, email, chat and other server or network services)

Perform client systems administration duties as required to support personnel

Maintain virtual environment, servers and clients, create monitoring reports and logs and ensure functionality of all external links

Monitor networks, websites, and servers for acceptable performance and user accessibility

Establish backups and monitor site security

Responsible for configuration management documentation of system topologies

Responsible for applying security lockdowns on all customer equipment in accordance with DISA, JTF-GNO and SPO guidance

The position would be located at Langley AFB, VA. Work will be performed onsite at a government facility.

Requirements

Active Secret Clearance with eligibility for Top Secret Clearance

High School degree with 6-8 years related experience, or Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience

Certifications and specific skillsets: Windows OS, UNIX OS, ACAS, HBSS, Active Directory

Understanding of General System Interoperability in a LAN/WAN Environment

Security + or equivalent IAT Level II certification
