We are urgently hiring for a Switchgear Production Supervisor (3rd Shift). The Switchgear Production Supervisor will oversee the production of switchgear equipment, as well as managing a Union staff. This position is required to enforce proper safety protocols and maintain communications with the Director of Operations. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with company benefits, being a part of their Union.

Switchgear Production Supervisor Responsibilities

• Supervise team of production staff including assemblers, technicians, and machine operators
• Ensure production schedule goals are met
• Provide training, guidance, and mentoring to production staff to enhance their skills, knowledge and productivity
• Implement safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to create a safe working environment
• Effectively solve production issues as they arise
• Collaborate with Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety departments to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards

Switchgear Production Supervisor Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Switchgear/Switchboard production
• Supervisory experience of 10 or more employees
• Management experience in Union environment, processes and policies
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical assembly operations and procedures
• Interpret blueprint readings, technical drawings, and specifications
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Google Suite
• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering considered a plus

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Hours: 3rd Shift 11:30pm to 7:30am

Pay: $29 – $33
