Palmer Logistics is looking for a Sustainability Program Coordinator to join our Compliance team!

This position plays a crucial role in our daily operations by ensuring segregation areas are following regulations and supporting the disposal of waste product. If you're a dedicated and proactive individual looking to make an impact in our organization, we want to hear from you!

Pay Rate:

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour depending on experience and knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures proper waste segregation and takes corrective action to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Oversees nonconforming product handling to meet customer requirements and ISO 9001 standards.
• Monitors inventory in nonconforming product areas and maintains accurate records.
• Supports Operations in identifying, tracking, and processing nonconforming materials in warehouse areas.
• Coordinates disposal activities with internal personnel and approved vendors.
• Reviews and approves waste manifests for outbound disposals.
• Assists with preparing and submitting Annual Waste Summaries and Waste Minimization Plans.
• Provides daily updates to leadership and updates within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Performs additional quality, safety, and training-related compliance duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Professional communication skills; verbal and written
• Detail oriented, organized, analytical
• The ability to problem solve
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong data entry skills; accuracy
• Able to lift up to 50lbs and adjust body to bend, push, pull, stretch, stoop, squat and grab; walking and sitting for extended periods
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements; IATA, IMDG, DOT a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, Outlook
• Highschool Diploma, G.E.D.
