We are currently searching for an experienced Survey/CAD Technician to support our Midwest Region located in Collinsville, IL, Freeburg, IL, or St. Louis, MO.

To be considered for this position, applicants must have, at minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.

The salary range for this position is $30 - $40 per hour.

What you’ll be doing:

• Processing Survey data from Survey Crews and support needed by Survey Crews
• Utilize a CAD workstation to prepare survey drawings
• Work closely with survey team to ensure coordinated design systems, compile data, and perform dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings

What you need to have:

• AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team environment
• Experience working with LiDAR data a plus. (Pix4D, Topo DOT, TBC etc.)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Volkert adheres to federal guidelines, which may include testing for substances such as marijuana. Please note that federal regulations may differ from state-specific guidelines.
• If applicable to the position, a post offer fit for duty evaluation to ensure the individual can safely perform the essential functions of the role.
• Valid driver’s license.
• A satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).
