SURF Interface Lead

We are looking for a SURF Interface Lead for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: France

Qualification and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Proven experience in SURF, Subsea, or EPCI offshore projects.
  • Experience in interface management on large offshore developments.
  • Strong knowledge of offshore engineering, installation, and project execution.

Skills

  • Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple interfaces in a multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Fluent in English

Purpose

  • The SURF Interface Lead is responsible for managing and coordinating all interfaces related to the SURF (Subsea, Umbilicals, Risers & Flowlines) package. The role ensures effective communication, alignment, and integration between all project disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders to support the successful execution of the Project Venus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all technical and project interfaces within the SURF scope.
  • Coordinate interfaces between Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, Operations, and other project packages.
  • Maintain and update the Interface Register, ensuring timely closure of interface actions.
  • Organize and chair interface meetings with internal teams and contractors.
  • Identify interface risks and implement mitigation actions.
  • Ensure alignment between SURF, SPS, Marine, Installation, and other work packages.
  • Monitor interface deliverables and ensure compliance with project schedules.
  • Support project management by providing interface status reports.
  • Ensure compliance with project procedures, HSE, and quality requirements.
