Job Description
We have partnered with a fast-growing and innovative food business that has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Planning Manager to join their operations team and ensure the sooth running of their end-to-end Supply Chain process.\n\nYou will manage the production planning with third-party manufacturing partners, lead a team of two planners, ensure stock availability, and drive performance across their supplier base.\n\nOn Offer\n\n * Salary will be circa £50 000\n\n * 10% Performance Bonus\n\n * Hybrid remote working options (2 days from home per week)\n\n * 25 leave days + 8 bank holidays\n\n * Private healthcare + Pension benefits\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Lead all production planning with third-party manufacturers and manage a team of two Supply Planners.\n\n * Optimise finished goods stock levels to balance service, cost and risk.\n\n * Ensure raw materials and packaging are in place to support production schedules.\n\n * Build strong supplier relationships and manage KPIs including OTIF, stockholding and factory performance.\n\n * Support month-end reporting and stock reconciliation.\n\n * Identify efficiency opportunities to reduce cost, improve planning and strengthen processes.\n\n * Own packaging projects including artwork updates and material transitions.\n\n * Partner closely with the Demand Planning Manager to support D2C growth and service levels.\n\nCandidate Requirements\n\n * Relevant tertiary qualifications\n\n * Supply, Materials or Production Planning experience within a food or drinks manufacturing environment.\n\n * Excellent Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s as standard), and confidence handling data.\n\n * Strong analytical skills and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.\n\n * Good communication skills and ability to engage and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders (suppliers, partners and internal teams).\n\n * Highly organised project manager with strong attention to detail.\n\n * Confidence leading and supporting others to deliver against shared goals
