Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Duration: 2 Years (possible extension)
Location: Rock Island, IL 61201
Shift: Start time between 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM CST

Role Overview:
Seeking a Supply Management Planner II to manage supplier relationships, ensure material availability, and support continuous improvement in supply chain performance for factory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues.
• Execute supply planning and inventory management activities for assigned commodities.
• Analyze supplier performance data and provide actionable feedback.
• Support contract review and negotiations through data-driven insights.
• Maintain and improve supply chain efficiency through process optimization.
• Coordinate meetings and actions with internal stakeholders.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Supply chain planning, procurement, and inventory management.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in SAP and Excel.
• Ability to multi-task and manage supplier relationships effectively.

Education & Experience:

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 months in operational/supply chain systems; experience in materials planning or buying .
