What You'll Do: The Supply Chain Specialist will support and optimize our supply chain operations. This role involves coordinating procurement, logistics, inventory management, and vendor relationships to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain performance.
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and monitor performance metrics.
Inventory & Logistics
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid shortages or overstock.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to manage inbound and outbound shipments.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory, supplier performance, and logistics metrics.
Process Improvement
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
- Support cross-functional teams in streamlining operations and reducing costs.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, shipments, and inventory transactions.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Skills:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, peers, operators, and customers.
Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
