Supply Chain Manager Teesside | Permanent | Full-Time/Part Time Property Development & Investment £30,000 £40,000 Benefits Our client is a long-established and reputable property developer and investor based in the North of England. Due to continued growth and a busy pipeline of residential and mixed-use projects, they are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their team in Teesside. This role would suit someone with a construction background , particularly those who have previously worked as a Site Manager and are now looking to step into a more commercially focused, office-based position, ideally part time. Benefits 34 days holiday (including bank holidays) Company pension Semi-flexible working hours: start anytime between 8:309:30am , finish 4:305:30pm Laptop/phone not required fully office-based role Stable, friendly team environment with long-term career potential Role Overview As Supply Chain Manager, you will manage procurement, subcontractor performance, and coordination across multiple projects. Youll ensure subcontracted works are competitively sourced, delivered on time, and meet all commercial, quality, and compliance requirements. This is a key role supporting efficient project delivery and the ongoing development of a reliable, high-performing supply chain. Key Responsibilities Source, vet, and onboard subcontractors across a range of trades Ensure all subcontractors hold correct licences, insurance, and comply with company standards Maintain and update the approved subcontractor database (performance, safety, financial checks) Monitor subcontractor delivery, capacity, and compliance Work closely with project teams to forecast future subcontractor needs Provide regular updates to project managers regarding performance and progress Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools Identify risks relating to subcontractor capability or availability Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers Develop regionalised rate cards and maintain accurate pricing/availability information Identify the most commercial subcontractors and assess workable travel radiuses Key Skills & Competencies Strong experience in subcontractor management and procurement Solid understanding of construction processes, tendering, and contracts Knowledge of trade packages, site operations, and project scheduling Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strong organisation, planning, and multitasking abilities Proactive approach with strong problem-solving capabilities Analytical skills with the ability to create and interpret performance metrics If youre looking for a stable, rewarding role with a respected North-East developer and you enjoy building strong supplier relationships while keeping projects running smoothly wed love to hear from you.
