We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain & Inventory Analyst to join our multi-location distribution team. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate inventory across multiple warehouses and branch locations, optimizing stock levels, ensuring vendor pricing accuracy, and improving supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong data management skills and combine data-driven decision making with a strong understanding of purchasing and distribution operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Data and Process Management
- Execute SQL queries and reporting tools to extract and analyze data across multiple distribution locations.
- Identify process inefficiencies or missed opportunities to streamline inventory sharing workflows.
- Validate new item set ups and updates to ensure correct classification, Vendor coding and system integrity across all locations.
- Maintain vendor pricing schedules.
- Inventory Management & Optimization
- Monitor and reconcile inventory level discrepancies.
- Analyze excess, obsolete and slow-moving stock to reduce carrying costs and optimize turnover.
- Coordinate sale or re-distribution of surplus materials through inventory -sharing or platforms.
- Monitor inventory parameters (stocking levels, reorder points) to balance service levels with turnover metrics.
- Manage forecasted demand (FMD) to ensure accurate reflection of future sales and location level replenishment needs.
- Vendor & Pricing Coordination
- Partner with Customer Service to resolve pricing misalignments between purchasing data and supplier acknowledgements.
- Proactively identify expiring supplier contracts (SPAs) and coordinate renewals or renegotiations with sales and suppliers.
- Investigate vendor invoicing due to pricing or PO discrepancies with Accounts Payable to resolve.
- Review vendor pricing overrides to ensure vendor price schedules are accurate.
- Procurement & Logistics Support
- Manage purchase order creation, acknowledgement and expediting to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage vendor or freight claims related to shortages and damages.
- Support the reallocation of inventory between locations to minimize shortages and balance stock levels. Optimize inventory utilization throughout the company.
- Assist with annual return programs.
- Forecasting & Logistics Support
- Apply demand forecasting techniques such as rolling averages, forecasted lead times (FLT) and exponential smoothing to improve accuracy.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Physical Requirement:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a computer,
Experience Required:
- 3-5 years of experience in inventory Supply Chain, multi-location distribution environment, Data Analytics or related fields.
- Experience and understanding of inventory forecasting methodologies.
