Director of Supply Chain

Hybrid in Austin, TX | Wellness Beverages & Personal Care Products

About the Role:

My client is seeking a strategic and analytical Supply Chain Director to lead all end-to-end supply chain operations and quality for a fast-growing wellness beverage and personal care products brand. This individual will be responsible for overseeing procurement, sourcing, planning, logistics, and inventory management while driving supply chain excellence to support rapid growth and innovation. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical rigor with hands-on leadership and thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all supply chain functions including demand planning, production scheduling, procurement, logistics, quality assurance, and inventory management ensuring on-time, cost-effective delivery across multiple co-manufacturing and distribution sites.
• Develop and manage the S&OP process, aligning cross-functionally with operations, product development, sales, and marketing to balance demand forecasts with supply capabilities.
• Source and purchase raw materials and packaging, negotiating supplier agreements to secure competitive pricing, quality, and availability.
• Drive supply chain strategy and process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and support scalability as the brand continues to grow.
• Monitor and analyze supply chain KPIs, translating data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for executive leadership.
• Partner with product development teams on new product launches to ensure supply readiness, optimal sourcing, and smooth commercialization.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small high-performing team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• 8–12+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, preferably within food & beverage or consumer wellness & personal care brands.
• Proven success managing end-to-end supply chain operations and leading S&OP processes.
• Strong background in procurement and supplier management, including contract negotiation and cost optimization.
• Highly analytical mindset; proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (NetSuite experience a plus).
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with hands-on involvement.
• Bachelor’s degree
