Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Shipping and Supply Chain Coordinator

 to join a thriving manufacturing company based in Basingstoke due to business expansion.  The successful candidate will be working alongside the purchasing and supply chain team.  

Responsibilities as a Supply Chain Coordinator:

Support the planning and coordination of shipments of machinery and spare parts

Track shipments and help resolve issues

Support export processes

Assist with preparing and managing shipping documentation

Working with production and stores team to ensure goods are prepared, packed and ready for dispatch

Help maintain appropriate stock levels

Liaise with sales to help manage delivery expectations

Requirements:

Proven supply chain or shipping experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment

Understanding of shipping processes, with an interest in developing knowledge further

Strong organisational skills

Confident MS Office user

Experience with ERP/MRP software such as Sage or SAP is desirable

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

The Shipping and Supply Chain Coordinator Role:

Starting salary of £29,000 (negotiable depending on experience)

Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week, flexibility for the right candidate

22 days annual leave plus bank holidays
