Job Description
Supplier Quality Engineer \n\nLocation: Near Gerrards Cross, Uxbridge\nSalary: Up to £55,000 per annum\nHours: Monday–Thursday 8:00–17:00, Friday 8:00–12:00 (early finish)\nType: Permanent, full-time\nBenefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, 1.5x overtime rate, excellent pension scheme, and free on-site parking\n\n We’re working with a well-established engineering business at the forefront of aerospace manufacturing, now looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their growing team.\n\n This position will see you supporting both the Quality and Sourcing departments, maintaining high supplier performance standards and identifying best-in-class machining and surface treatment partners — both across the UK and internationally.\n\n It’s a varied, hands-on role with significant supplier interaction, requiring a blend of technical understanding, auditing skill and commercial awareness.\n\n Supplier Quality Engineer Responsibilities\nConduct system and product audits across the supplier base and coordinate the resolution of non-conformance issues.\n\nMaintain and update the approved supplier list, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.\n\nCarry out initial assessments and evaluations of potential new suppliers.\n\nDrive continuous improvement and zero-defect initiatives throughout the supply chain.\n\nParticipate in internal quality investigations and contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions.\n\nSupplier Quality Engineer Profile\nProven experience and working knowledge of AS9100 and CAA Part 21 regulations.\n\nFamiliarity with the AS9120 First Article Process.\n\nDemonstrable auditing experience within aerospace, defence, or automotive manufacturing environments.\n\nConfident using Microsoft Office applications for reporting and data management.\n\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\n\nFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel both nationally and internationally.\n\nApply now or contact Zachary Pyne at Syntech Recruitment for more information
