Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) in Bothell

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to drive supplier quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Lead supplier quality investigations, nonconformance management, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

\n

• Manage Supplier Quality Notifications (SQNs), Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs), and supplier performance metrics.

\n

• Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities and support root cause investigations.

\n

• Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and qualification activities.

\n

• Partner with Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations teams to resolve supplier quality issues.

\n

• Support supplier development, risk management, process improvements, and quality system compliance.

\n

• Utilize structured problem-solving methodologies including 8D, 5 Why, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis.

\n

Required Qualifications\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.

\n

• 5+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Quality Systems.

\n

• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, CAPA, supplier audits, and quality management systems.

\n

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP/QMS platforms.

\n

• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

\n

Qualifications\n

\n
• ASQ CQE, CSQP, CQA, or Six Sigma certification.

\n

• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments.

\n

• Lead auditor certification (ISO 9001/ISO 13485) is a plus.

\n
