Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer

Location: West London (Office-based)

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

The Role

This role will focus on ensuring supplier performance meets strict quality standards. You’ll work closely with manufacturing, procurement, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues, carry out supplier audits, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.



Key Responsibilities



* Manage supplier non-conformities and implement corrective actions.



* Conduct supplier process and product audits.



* Inspect new and modified parts for compliance.



* Develop KPIs and scorecards to track supplier performance.



* Support suppliers in improving capabilities and reducing defects.



Requirements



* 5+ years’ experience in a supplier quality, manufacturing, or engineering role.



* Strong knowledge of quality systems, manufacturing processes, and technical drawings.



* Skilled in Root Cause Analysis, 8D, and similar problem-solving tools.



* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.



Desirable



* ISO 9001 Internal Auditor qualification.



* Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or TQM.



* Degree or equivalent in an engineering or technical field.
