Pay: $27.00 - $28.00 per hour

Job description:

Oversees all aspects in accordance with Company policy statement, including maximization of Production, Quality performance, customer satisfaction, and staff development within established quality and safety standards.

Duties and responsibilities

• Direct report to Director, Embedded Operations
• Provide leadership and vision to the organization by assisting the Leadership team with the development of long range and annual plans on production planning and execution, with product quality as the objective.
• Increases staff's effectiveness by training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff; communicating values, strategies, and objectives.

· Coordinates efforts by establishing communication with the entire team to organize an effective process to create a safe quality product. .

· Maintains quality service by creating and establishing and enforcing organization Quality standards.

• Provide feedback to SQF Practitioner and Director, Embedded Operations
• Attend meetings with Production/Operations and Project Managers
• Facilitate communication with regards to long term Quality goals including planning, production and staff.
• Ensure that a clean, neat, and orderly work area is provided for employees by Operations team.
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes Food Safety and Safety for all employees and guests who enter our building.
• Comply with HACCP and SQF Standards.
• Continued self-development in regard to training on new rules and regulations.
• Commitment to ensure the necessary time and resources are provided for the effective implementation of the quality system.
• Able to work unsupervised and self-motivated.
• Responsible to have an assigned, appropriately trained backup (SQF Practitioner, Operations manager) to cover their nominated duties to ensure the integrity of the SQF System.

Physical requirements

The employee is expected to be mentally alert to surroundings, and physically able to perform reaching, twisting, bending, stretching, lifting, carrying, moving and standing. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, stand, and walk as needed.
