Position Overview:
We are looking for a driven and dependable Construction Laborer for commercial sitework projects in Essex, Middlesex, and Suffolk counties. The ideal candidate will assist with a variety of tasks on construction sites including loading and unloading materials, preparing job sites, operating tools and machinery, and supporting skilled tradespeople. This role is vital to ensuring construction projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on time. Job projects include: excavation, utility install, land clearing, grubbing, grading, dewatering, road/parking lot construction, site improvements, demolition, and retaining and seawall construction. Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites

Load and unload building materials and distribute them to appropriate locations

Erect and dismantle temporary structures such as scaffolding and barricades

Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth
-
Perform demolition work when required

Measure, mark, and record layout areas
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Previous construction or general labor experience is an asset

Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, and standing for long periods

Familiarity with construction tools and machinery

Basic understanding of construction procedures and safety protocols

Strong work ethic and reliability

Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required
