​About the Role

We are hiring a Structured Power Trader to manage complex structured products and long-term optimisation strategies across Northwest Europe. This role blends trading, portfolio management, and commercial structuring.

Key Responsibilities

• Trade and manage structured power products (shape, blocks, options, load-following, flexibility).

• Optimise mid-/long-term portfolios across NL, DE, BE, UK, and Nordics.

• Price, value, and hedge embedded optionality.

• Work closely with originators on deal structuring and valuation.

• Conduct fundamental + quantitative analysis on NW European markets.

• Contribute to model development, risk frameworks, and valuation tools.

• Ensure strong risk management, reporting, and compliance.

Requirements

• 3–7+ years experience in structured trading, complex hedging, or portfolio optimisation.

• Strong understanding of NW European power markets and fundamentals.

• Experience with optionality, stochastic modelling, valuation frameworks.

• Advanced analytical skills (Python/R/SQL is a plus).

• Strong communication abilities and stakeholder engagement.

• English required; Dutch an advantage.
