Job Title: Structural Welders – Shutdown Project (Paper Mill)

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Duration: May 4 – May 20 (Off on May 10)

Schedule: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)

Overtime: Mandatory (12 hours daily)

Job Overview:

We are seeking 3 skilled Structural Welders for a shutdown project in Indianapolis. This is an indoor project working at heights, with strong potential for continued work for local candidates after completion.

Pay & Per Diem:

$30–$32/hour (based on experience)

$150/day per diem (for travelers)

Responsibilities:

Perform structural welding on carbon steel

Work at heights of 25–27 feet using lifts

Follow all job site safety protocols

Assist with shutdown-related welding tasks as needed

Requirements:

Must be experienced structural welder

Fork truck & lift certified (required) - could help get this if needed

Comfortable working at heights (25–27 ft)

Must bring:

Steel toe boots

Hard hat

Harness

Welding helmet

Ability to work long hours (12-hour shifts, mandatory OT)

English-speaking

Additional Details:

Indoor work environment

No background check or drug test required
