Structural Welder in Houston

Job DescriptionJob Description

This is an excellent opportunity to work on large structural steel assemblies in a clean, safety-focused manufacturing environment with long-term career potential.

Responsibilities

• Weld overhead cranes and crane components of various sizes
• Perform tack welding and final welding according to blueprints and weld symbols
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and engineering blueprints
• Use fabrication tools and precision measuring equipment
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, grinders, and other shop equipment
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all quality and safety procedures while meeting production goals

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of structural welding or heavy fabrication welding experience
• Ability to pass a 3G & 4G weld test
• Experience reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Overhead crane and forklift experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safety
