Ambitek is recruiting experienced Skilled Structural MIG Welders to join our client’s busy fabrication team in Winsford. This is a long‑term contracting opportunity offering strong rates, steady hours, and ongoing work for reliable, qualified welders.\n\n Key Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n MIG welding of structural steel beams, end‑plates, and associated components.\n\n * \n\n Using solid wire MIG in the down‑hand position.\n\n * \n\n Completing 10mm T‑joint multi‑run fillet welds, including controlled start/stop techniques.\n\n * \n\n Working accurately from engineering drawings and welding specifications.\n\n * \n\n Ensuring all welds meet required quality, safety, and compliance standards.\n\n Requirements\n\n * \n\n Proven experience in structural MIG welding, ideally within a fabrication workshop environment.\n\n * \n\n Ability to produce a high‑standard 10mm multi‑run T‑joint fillet weld.\n\n * \n\n Must successfully pass a trade test prior to starting.\n\n * \n\n Strong attention to detail and a commitment to consistent, high‑quality workmanship.\n\n * \n\n Local candidates only — no accommodation provided.\n\n⏱ Working Hours\n\n * \n\n Monday–Thursday: 07:45 – 16:45\n\n * \n\n Friday: 07:45 – 12:45\n\n * \n\n Overtime available after 39 hours at an enhanced rate.\n\n Additional Information\n\nThis is a long‑term contracting role and not a permanent position
